My clients are humans and their animals.
The human relays their thoughts and feelings through words, while the animal expresses through shared feelings.
I listen to both carefully. I know they communicate from their true and authentic selves.
Thank you to both species for sharing with me. Barb

Jean - Barb Vince is a deeply knowledgeable horsewoman. She genuinely cares about all animals and their welfare. I have been fortunate to have attended several of her clinics over the 20 years I have known her. These include liberty training, Freedom Horsemanship, which included bitless, bareback and trail ride training. Horse Agility and Barefoot Hoofcare and Trimming, Barb exemplifies the statement “We never finish learning about horses”, always wanting to improve the lives of horses and their humans.
She has studied under very holistic, forward thinking educators in animal care. Among them are James Welz, Barefoot Hoofcare Educator, Liberty expert Carolyn Resnick, Animal Communicators - Marta Williams, Linda Salinas, and a world leader in Mindfulness with animals - James French, of Trust Technique.
She has the ability and passion to share her knowledge in an understandable and gentle way. Both you and your animals will benefit from her teachings. She is spoken of as “someone who has a way with animals”.
Barb - Jean has been a friend and supporter for those 20 years. She has gained respect and acolades over the years as a wonderful horsewoman, instructor in riding and driving, Wheels and Saddles club founder and President for many years. She never holds her hand back from helping anyone in need, with their horses, or life. She was the first person inducted into the Horseman's Hall of Fame with the Saskatchewan Horse Council. She has always been one of my top mentors, in life and with horses.

Deb - Thank you for the great insights on the horses in my life. With the Trust Technique I am developing a greater, and deeper level of communication. Now that the horses know I'm listening to them, so that they can be heard, our relationships are deepening, expanding and creating beautiful partnership. Thank you Barbara Vince❤️
Barb - I am so happy your relationships are improving, and as importantly, YOU are experiencing a new peace with them. Looking forward to giving you a live Consultation when the Covid coast is clear.

Brenda - Barb’s passion for helping horse owners develop a better connection with their horses is evident in many ways. I have known Barb for over 18 years and have witnessed the development of her knowledge of working with horses from natural horsemanship, barefoot trimming courses, liberty training and her new adventure building trust with animals.
It is evident that Barb cares deeply for the welfare of all animals and this is especially true upon her completion of the Trust Technique Practioners Course. When you work with Barb you will feel her passion and commitment to developing positive connections with your animals.
You will learn from her extensive knowledge and work experience. She provides examples, clear messages and is always willing to provide guidance both in person and virtually. I recently purchased a new filly and Barb has been there along my journey in becoming connected with Willow and this is all being done virtually.
I highly recommend Barb and Trust with Animals; you won’t go wrong and you will definitely develop a deep and lasting connected relationship with your animal.
Barb - I am so happy I was able to help your relationship with your new horse Willow develop peacefully throught my teaching, including the Trust Technique method. It has always been a great pleasure to work with you and your horses.

Phoebe - Barb creates a comfortable environment. She is great at explaining everything and leaves
room for questions, without judgement. She definately has a special understanding of animals.
Milo brought his puppy energy down and was able to completely relax during our present moment
meditation. Barb's demonstration had Milo really relaxed.
Barb -Both Phoebe and Milo became very chilled! Barb

Coreen - This was a newer concept for me. It was well described, and I was easily able to practice
the method successfully with my horse, Candy. I would absolutely recommend Barb as
a teacher of the Trust Technique!
Barb - Coreeen has commented how she really feels the meditation method has
helped HER become more present and relaxed. Barb

Lois -
When I lowered my anxious feeling,so did my horse Jasper, and when I
became nervous, so did he! Jasper was able to get sleepy and peaceful during the
sessions of present moment with him. I loved learning and practicing how to
get present and also regard. I loved it! I felt happy, supported and more confident.
Jasper usually tries to nip at me. He never did it once with Barb! During and after
the session he never had a thought of nipping me! I absolutely loved it all!
Barb - Jasper couldn't stop yawning at the end of session, he released a lot of pent up stress! Barb

Christine - I learned about being present and not present. This easy method of meditation
really helped me get present without the distraction of wondering if I was doing it right!
When it was my turn to get present with Solo, it came EASY! Instructions were so simple to
understand and the demonstrations were easy to follow.
Barb -When I did the session, Solo was a rescued horse that was very nervous, could not easily be
haltered or touched. We did the session without rope or halter. After I got present with him
for awhile and regarded him carefully,he got curious, came close and relaxed.
When Christine did her learning session with him, he had progressedto standing right with
her and got sleepy and then licked and yawned a great deal. He had a lot to release.
Christine has gone on to be able to handle, brush, halter and lead easily, using the
Trust Technique, and a lotof patience and persistance. So proud of them both!

Jessi - Barb ensures the consultation is conducted in a safe environment, it's a # 1 prioity to her.
I could see the shift in emotions and how they were reflected as I learned the dynamics of how
Gunner and I were sharing feelings. Barb instilled peacefulness, patience and persistance in what
we were practicing. I found it easy to get present, which is usually not an easy task for me. I had
several moments of present moment with Gunner. Not an easy task for him! I felt so supported
throughtout the session. I appreciated the corrections needed and ongoing encouragement. There
are valuable lessons in this technique. There is ablsolutely no question I would recommend Barb's
teaching in the Trust Technique.
Barb - Gunner has anxiety issues from his past life as a dressage horse. They manifest in nipping
and ear pinning and general defensiveness. Yes, he is a lovely horse, who can show his soft side
with present moment and patience. I am able to work with him often, as my mare boards at Jessi's
stable - Hooves N' Hounds. During our consultation, he went from frantic to falling asleep within a few
moments of sharing peaceful feelings and relaxation. Then comes the yawning, always with him.
Gunner has a history to divest himself of, and is coming along...peacefully.

Bea - I could actually FEEL the sharing of feelings. It's amazing when they connect. This will be so
useful when working with new and rescued animals. The connection was definately there for
periods for Luna. I can see how this would benefit many people and their animals. I would surely
refer my boarders and especially new owners of horses to get help from Barb.
Barb - Luna has been on stall rest and restricted diet, so taking her out where some grazing was
available was very distracting for her. It's a reminder to do Trust Technique in the right situation,
when the animal isn't hungry, in a lot of pain or in a very high thinking level of stress. He was able
to relax some and get peaceful, and it was still successful in that every moment they feel the peace,
brings an animal into a new realization of themselves and allows them to start processing life in
a more aware and peaceful way.

Lucy - Barb is well versed in safety, ensuring all was safe for the session. She did a great job of
explaining the dynamics of the shared emotions in both myself and the horse. Her demonstration
was excellent and provided a great example I could easily follow. Her explaining of how to move in
and out of present moment, and move into regard was clear and helpful. When she shared present
moment with Cyrus it was so amazing to see! I felt 100% support and comfortable with her instruction.
I was happy to experience first hand the benefits of the peace and calmness gained with the Trust Technique.
Barb is a natural teacher with a wonderf way of making others fell comfortable and safe.
Barb - Cyrus is a very special horse to me. He is losing his sight, which does not help that he lacks confidence.
He had nervous habits of cribbing, nibbling on people, and generally being quite needy. I continue to work
with him to help him gain confidence. He has come so far. That is a story on it's own, which he will dictate to me
to post on a coming blog on this site. I just smile when I think of how far he has come with the Trust Technique.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wendy - Barb has ticked off every asset needed to be a successful Trust Technique Practitioner. Her body
language with the horses, and her quite encouragement made me feel very comfortable. It's amazing.
I feel this method will help me in areas I didn't even think of. Like when Champ uses my body for a
scratching post! I see a non-confrontational way to reduce this safely and peacefully. This was a very
lear, peaceful, very enjoyable experience and I absolutely would recommend her to anyone who might
benefit from the Trust Technique.
Barb - Champ is a sweet,calm "buddy" type horse that is easy to be around. He loves people and can be a bit
too "invasive" in body space...sort of like that big, happy dog that hogs the couch! So now Wendy has some peaceful
tools to gain her space back and help him also gain trust and confidence on the trail rides. Sometimes just a
little peace, patience and persistance goes a long way to setting loving boundaries in a relationship with your
animal. Dominance does not have to enter the relationship at all, it can fade away, being replaced with mutual
understanding and regard for each other.
Floriane - This method for sure is going to help Kalila. It was so awesome to learn. It really was like magic!
Finally Kalila could find peace. It was fun to learn as well. I was so surprised how Kalila reacted to the present
moment and became relaxed, eyes closed and peaceful. I felt very supported through the session. I hope more
people can learn the Trust Technique and benefit from it!
Barb - Kalila is a brave horse, who suffered a great deal with early onset arthritis from being bred and trained
at too young an age with a previous owner. Floriane, over the last year has put her heart and soul into helping
this horse heal. Kalila was operated on and had to endure months of stall rest, with very short turnout time, so
she could heal. And she has healed. Truly a miracle. When I did the session, she was still in some pain, not
completely healed and she was able to release the bodily tension, I expect for the first time completely. It was
heartwarming to watch. Yes, it brought tears to Floriane and I. So many take-aways from this story of Floriane
and her brave hearted horse Kalila. Just recently Kalila was able to canter for the first time in months and months.
The Trust Technique not only can heal the horse emotionally and physically, it certainly has given Floriane moments
of emotional healing as well.
